Disadvantages unfortunately are also associated with entertainment and leisure, and its impact on professional lives. Some of these include:
  • Video games could distract people from jobs, and the consequences can be severe (i.e., job losses)
             - Video games can be rather addictive once one starts playing (trust me, I know). Because of this addiction induced by video games, people tend to get distracted from important tasks such as important assignments or presentations, and as a result of these, people have to sometimes stay up late nights to get this work done while stressing themselves out. However, sometimes they are not even completed, and when this is the case, consequences can be dire.
  • Some busy people may still not have time to partake in such activities dues to schedules
              - Although late night performances/screenings and on demand services are implemented, some people still do not have enough time to focus on their entertainment and leisure. As a result of this, these people are usually glum and begin to feel depressed, which could further affect the person negatively for example; it could lead to poor judgement – something which no doctor needs!
