Impact on personal life (1)

A wide variety of working styles has major impacts on personal lives. This is because it involves technology which would, in my opinion, be the kind which would affect people the most. Below, I have indicated some of the advantages related to this aspect of life in the information age, and explained them.
  • Different working styles make it possible to accomplish certain tasks with greater ease
              - Tasks such as writing essays for assignments or, creating accounts for a business can be made a lot easier using computer bases word processors and spread sheet applications. Not only would they present the final document in a neater manner, but also they would allow for easy editing and for the task to be completed relatively quicker.
  • With the availability of new working styles, one can become more organised
              - Newer working styles make it so that users are much more organised. This is due to a number of factors such as the fact that when documents are created on computers, the document can be printed an infinite amount of time. Also, organisation is improved with the implementation of cloud storage. This allows for people to create documents at one location, and then access them in pretty much any part of the world which has internet availability. As a result, people do not have to worry if they forget memory sticks or hard drives – they can still access their files from the cloud.
  • There is an encouragement to creativity as tasks can be done in lots of different ways
              - With the availability of many different working styles, there is essentially more than one way to reach the same destination. This ultimately allows for creativity to flourish as people can think outside of the box and go things in new and interesting ways.
