Multi-User Games

“The more the merrier”. Multi-user games allow for multiple people to play the same game simultaneously, in the same virtual environment. This ultimately allows for competition and rivalry, partnerships and co-operation, as well as challenge and excitement. It provides players with a more unpredictable friend (or foe), which is marginally better than the normal artificial intelligence that players encounter in basic, single player modes. Its availability on a number of mainstream games and devices, and its potential to connect millions of people over a worldwide scale through nothing more than simply the internet makes this service highly popular. So popular in fact, that it is estimated that over 1 billion people worldwide play multi-user games online each day, with 10% of that population being solely contributions from the USA.
