The Digital Divide

With the speed at which technology is developing, it is difficult for everyone to keep up. In some parts of the world, some people are deprived of the basic things which we have and maybe even take for granted. These include things such as computers, internet, and even as simple as electricity. The digital divide is a measure of those who have access to technology, and those who do not - be this regarding small communities, or even continents on a whole. Not only does this consider people who do not have access to it, but it also takes into account those who do not have great enough of an understanding to use the technology to an effective degree.
