Enhancements for social networking
A possible enhancement for social networking could be to introduce a method of linking different services such as Facebook and Google+. This would be an excellent feature to incorporate into social networking services as users can communicate between services, even if they have not joined with them. An example situation in which this would be useful would be if person A is a member of the Facebook community, but would like to communicate with their friend, person B who is on Google+, which would be impossible unless person A joins Google+, or if person B joins Facebook.
Furthermore, social media could incorporate regulations to filter fake, spam accounts from actual accounts. This would essentially improve the service as there is less spam and clutter from these fake accounts. Also, these accounts are usually related with illegal activity, or cyber bullying, as some people think that these fake accounts can be used to hide their identities, so by filtering out these fake accounts, social media is ultimately made into a safer service.
