Impact on professional life (1)

When thinking about the impacts of decision making on professional lives, there isn’t a great number of factors which one can consider. This is because in my opinion decision making in the information age only really has an effect on personal lives. However, there are still a few advantages to consider, which I have listed below.
  • If a customer requests a loan, a credit check can be made by a company in seconds to see if the customer’s credit rating
              - If a company or bank organisation receives an application for a loan or mortgage, the establishment is able to conduct a credit check before they give out any money, so they can take a look at the applicant’s credit rating and from that, determine if they would be able to pay the loan back on time. This saves the organisation from having to chase up payments for their money as they are more likely to receive their payment.
  • Businesses can research into, and read reviews for other businesses before creating partnerships with them
              - Nobody wants a bad partner – businesses are not exception to this. When a business begins to think about partnerships or taking over other businesses, they would conduct research into the target business beforehand. This is because if the target business has a poor reputation for whatever reason, chances are that the target business will not benefit the other business greatly. Businesses can conduct their research through a number of sophisticated ways, but online reviews for businesses would also be valuable to gather customer opinions.
