Impact on social life (1)

Social lives are also impacted by crime and crime prevention, though not as greatly as it may impact personal or professional lives. Regardless of this fact, I have still identified a number of advantages which are listed below.
  • Social media sites are constantly monitored and filtered for content, making the services more friendly
              - Social media sites provide a much better experience for their users if they are safe and provide friendly environments. Fortunately, social media websites also understand this, and so have implemented regulations on their sites to monitor and filter content to keep all user experiences friendly and enjoyable.
  • There is a great police presence on the streets of the UK so social groups feel safe on the streets
              - With a high police presence on the streets, people are discouraged from committing any criminal activities as there would be a greater possibility that they will get caught. Ultimately, this makes society a safer place, so social groups do not need to take any form of protection on their outings – they can walk out in confidence that the police will protect them.
