Overall effect of communication on lives in the information age

So to conclude, communication has an invaluable effect on lives in the information age. It affects lives in a number of ways, all of which have now become vital in or everyday lives. These include the use of mobile phones which are one of the most common ways in which people communicate. People have adapted their use to impact personal, professional, and also social lives, and these are not the only type of service which can accomplish this – services such as email, instant messaging, social media and video conferencing are also of increasing popularity and can accomplish similar objectives. However, some communication services are not available in all parts of the world, for example there isn’t internet connectivity in all parts of Africa. The introductions of all the new communication innovations truly have changed the lives of the vast majority of the world compared to 100 years ago – we have come a long way!
